Black Sea ( Dec 2014) Movie review

IMDb " In order to make good with his former employers, a submarine captain takes a job with a shadowy backer to search the depths of the Black Sea for a submarine rumored to be loaded with gold."

The film staring Jude Law is a gritty drama, mostly set on board an old submarine, theres lot of tension and some decent acting. The film is a bit of a mix of films like the hunt for red October, das boot, and the enemy below, with just a touch of the Italian job thrown in for good measure.
Theres enough excitement to keep you on the edge of your seat a fair bit, with an ending I didn't see coming!
A young actor in his first big movie does very well here, Bobby Schofield is destined for bigger and better things I suspect.
All in all a cracking good  movie.
