Legend Hunter tv series

 Legend Hunter tv series.
This is another of those US tv series where the presenter investigate and tries to solve various mysteries. Sadly as in most of the others it's a farce.
We see them travel the world, talking to experts and visiting the locations, the problem is they leave us none the wiser.
In the Jack the Ripper episode they narrow the suspect down to Francis Tumblety and Irish born American doctor (and suspect at the time) because of his handwriting matching that of a ripper letter. But thats not exactly proof that the letter writer was the killer in the first place. The other episodes I've watched leave you no wiser for watching.

I'm going to make it happen, or die trying!...

I'm going to make it happen, or die trying!  The guy says...

So whats he talking about?  Saving a child trapped in the radioactive sarcophagus at Chernobyl?
Getting help for a group of marines trapped behind enemy lines?  No Wait, I know! Climbing mount Everest carrying a Koala bear?
No, it just a stupid twat building a custom car for bloody ZZtop.
Die trying... really are you that bad a mechanic that your life on the line restoring a fucking car? time to find a new line of work then in my humble opinion.  Growing kale perhaps? That should be fairly safe, provided you cut down the harvest with blunt ended plastic scissors

Flying to Payam UPDATE

A few weeks ago I mentioned an aircraft flying to Payam in Iran trying to land at Fat'h airport by mistake. It's happened again, this time with fatal consequences.
A Boeing 707 of Irans airforce laned on runway 31 left at Fat'h airport instead of runway 30 at Payam. Trouble is 31L is only 1300 feet long (30 is 3659 foot) In the crash that followed 15 people died.  The two airports are just 6 miles apart.

Ford electrics latest update.

I've mentioned Fords electrical "issues" before. Last week my other rear light bulb went. This time forewarned after last times problems of neither the computer or the manual matching the bulb in use I took the bloody bulb in with me to buy the replacement.  Thats when it got even odder.
You see the near side rear bulb (harder to get at than the off side) is a different bulb again, this one is the same as the manual, and different to the offside rear bulb.
Now the normal reason for this situation is a vehicle has had accident repair and a newer part fitted.... except my brother knows the car and it's history, it's not had a bump or light replacement.
It's come from Ford like this.
 I give up.

Houdinis last secret (tv show)

The idea of the show is simple. A magician and special effects people study one of Houdinis great illusions and recreate it for tv......  Except....
The fatal flaw however is for the most part NOBODY knows exactly how Houdini did most of his illusions, and studying the few props left gives little or no clues.
To make things worse the team then make their own "updated" version of the trick rather than recreate the original exactly.
Frankly the Houdini name is just bait to get viewers to watch. They also dont explain how the trick is done at the end.
