Underwater 2020... I watched 7 minutes and gave up!

I tried watching the film underwater 2020 today, I got as far as 7 minutes in and lost the will to live.
The films opens with an underwater drilling rig in the deepest part of the worlds oceans, the Mariana trench. The trench a little over 36.000 feet deep.
Now just building a drilling station or working at that depth is pushing belief, but in the first few minutes the submerged rig springs a major leak. Walls burst open and our female lead runs around the platform racing the water and waking up the crew.... WTF! Water pressure at that depth is getting on for 8 tons per square inch, 8 fucking tons!  Any leak even a pinhole never mind the bloody wall failing would fill the platform is seconds, the wall failing would raise the air pressure instantly to the best part of 16.000 psi igniting the air and vaporising the crew.  Outrunning it isn't even an options.     It happens like this.   Leak and BANG your dead!  No running, no looking around, no making a quick cuppa and a bacon roll. No just bloody bang and your an ex human being.
 Fucking hollywood!
