Well I explored a short section of the wales coast path yesterday. Two small points... one it's not exactly on the coast and two it's hardly even a path in places.
The bit I looked at was about a mile inshore and you couldn't even see the sea from it, so hardly a coast path as far as I'm concerned, the path was also badly overgrown in places with waist high nettles and brambles. The path also just sort of came to a stop at a wet muddy farm type track. So not impressed.
