Automata 2014 (film review)

IMDb "Jacq Vaucan, an insurance agent of ROC robotics corporation, routinely investigates the case of manipulating a robot. What he discovers will have profound consequences for the future of humanity."

The film is a sort of Blade runner meets Irobot.  Staring Antionio Banderes, it also features Tim Mcinnermy (of black adder) David Ryall and the voice of Melanie Griffith.

The film is set in a dark moody post apocalyptic city for the first part it then moves to the desert for the final part.

It's what Irobot should have been, not jazzed up with car chases and huge explosions, more a story about about robots interacting with people.

The locations are good and the robots stunning, by the end of the film you really start to connect with them.

Waynes rating 7/10    worth a watch
