Saturday night TV

Well it's Saturday evening and telly is bloody awful, Ben Stiller is on every channel, ok he's not really but it seems like it (and I'm not a fan)   The only half decent program I could find was the Nevada triangle and that turned out to be exactly the same program shown a while ago as the search for Steve Fossit with a different name ( so another bloody repeat).
It really is pathetic, it's Saturday evening, telly should have some good programs on, yes I know years ago everybody went out on a Saturday (well a lot anyway) but things have changed, we're in a recession, people stay in a lot more.
TV companies are wondering why people are watching less telly and watching more films online.... Err guess guys, if telly's crap we'll go elsewhere, and the films online are newer and better still advert free.  Yes shock horror people don't actually like the adverts.
Something TV companies and the mugs who pay huge sums to have their rubbish adverts shown haven't learnt yet is almost all the people actually veiwing (and that number gets smaller every day) don't watch your crummy adverts. Oh no, we turn over to another program (anythings better than the ad's) or we go and make a cuppa or use the loo.
But the bigest thing TV companies should be worrying about is advertising is paying your wages, so if you show shit programs and the same films over and over again, less and less people are watching.    Once we find something better to do or watch your screwed for revenue.  Think it through guys....good programs = large numbers of viewers, and large numbers of viewers make it attractive for companies wanting to advertise with you (even if no bugger watches your adverts)
