I watched an episode of Last of the Summer Wine today, and it got me thinking back.
I remember watching the series for many years, seeing the coming and sadly going of many of the regular characters, Bill Owen (as Compo) Michael Bates (as Blamire) and Brian Wilde (as Foggy) Kathy Staff (as Nora Batty) Joe Gladwin (Wally Batty) John Corner (Sid from the cafe) and Michael Aldridge (as Seymour) Very sad looses, and many many hours of good family entertainment.
