I decided to make a return visit to Whiteford point lighthouse today, the sunset and tide times were right.
After spending a bit of time there in the freezing wind taking pics and video it became apparent that the sun still wasn't going to set in the right place for the lighthouse but too far to my left behind the headland (I'd takes a compass bearning of the suns setting angle) It looks like another month or six weeks will be just about right.
