Die Hard was a sequel.

 

 You might be surprised to find that the movie die hard is the second film and technically a sequel. The first movie was called the detective and stared Frank Sinatra. 

 Both films were based on books written by Roderic Thorp. The detective being the first book made into a film of the same name in 1968, the sequel book, nothing lasts forever became the 1988 die hard. 

 Due to legal and contractual issues Frank Sinatra was offered the part of John McClane in the die hard film, at 70 years old he turned it down and Bruce Willis was given the part.

Eclipse anticlimax

 Well the solar eclipse was shown as 93% for my area....  Yeah, not sure about that if I'm honest.  It did go a bit darker for a few minutes, but that was about it.

The wedding actually went better than I expected, I got a nice set of images, and saw a few old friends and family.

 First the pics, taken recently.

Today I'm doing a wedding for a family member.  I don't mind that, I've done a LOT of weddings over the years.  The problem is I can't get any information on the wedding, I think I know where it is, and last night I found out the time, or at least my son found it out.

I don't know if I'm going to the brides house for bridal prep (I don't know where it is) I do know that the possible venue is going to be a bugger to get too as most of the area is closed off and locked down.

To make things more complicated the reception is in three weeks....  Yeah, of course it is, it couldn't be like any other wedding on the same day could it......

Not knowing what I'm supposed to be doing or where is actually stressing me out.  Weddings don't stress me, I know what I can do and how. This messing about is stressing me though.

This is actually something the military does to put pressure on soldiers, changing times and places at short notice, telling you something is in point A and putting it in point B.  It's called dislocation of expectation.

Wayne is not a happy bunny today.  I'll let you know what happens tomorrow.....  if I'm not in jail for murder....  😉
