What passes for a government in the UK (really a sort of gang of suited keystone cops) want us to go all electric. Sadly we're already at 97% capacity so unless your happy with the lights and telly going off every time you plug in your car we need to build more generating power.
Our leaders came up with a better plan.
Despite a vote to leave the EU-SSR that monster thats nothing at all like the common market we actually joined but the Germans taking over Europe for the third time they actually plan to run cables through the channel tunnel and import electric from Europe.
Heres one of the specially built trains they plan to use to lay the cables.
