Saltwater the battle for Ramree island 2021 (film review)

Yet another low budget war film!

"A band of soldiers in search of a secret Japanese ammunition store face off against deadly saltwater crocodiles in the swamps of Ramree Island. Inspired by actual events during World War 2."  IMDb

The film is set in the jungle but it looks more like a woods to me, the crew used a yellow filter to show us it's abroad.  Strangely the mens uniforms stay very clean for men living in the jungle (normally your minging) they also patrol and move about at night, even the SAS dont move around the jungle at night, nobody does, not even the local natives.

Factor in bad acting, a lot of use of close up (to hide the background I suspect) and a fair bit filmed in gloom vision (night) and it's grim watching.

Sadly the worst part for me was the cast.  Why do they insist on grisled old actors playing the lead roles, the soldiers would have been in their early twenties at best, not bloody fifty!

Waynes rating 2/10 give it a miss.
