Yet another sunset (part two)

The last batch from yesterdays sunset.

Yet another sunset..... (part one)

Had a nice sunset last night so heres a few pics from it.

Tesco and bingo

Who in Tesco Port Talbot thought bingo in the shop was a good idea?
It's supposed to be a food shop for heavens sake, yet it's almost impossible to actually shop in the bloody place.
I've mentioned before that the nutter count in there is off the scale to start with, that makes shopping hard work. Trying to get past people pretending to be aeroplanes, and the groups of escaped mental patients gossiping in the aisles is hard work.
Why Tesco allow so many idiots who lets face it aren't shopping to loiter around in the warm is beyond me, proper shoppers are heading for Asda or somewhere in droves.
This brings me to the bingo. Where exactly a game of chance (gambling) fits into a shop full of nutcases has me stumped, and why did they think gambling at Easter (a religious holiday remember) was a good thing.  With the shop packed with a combination of mental hospital rejects, old ladies trying to keep warm and nine people actually trying desperately to fucking buy food what do they do?. Start playing fucking bingo, thats what!
How totally stupid is that, to make life just a fraction worse the morons are shouting BINGO!!! every few minutes, even the bloody staff on the tills.  I stopped putting my shopping out, and asked the checkout operator should I wait until she starts working again? She looked confused (it doesn't take much in there) then realised I was taking the piss and stopped shouting.
So Tesco, do you have the proper permits to play bingo for prizes? And do you honestly think it's selling more stuff, because it isn't.
For Gods sake please chuck out the nutters who aren't bloody shopping, stop the crap and see if that gets proper customers back in.

Ready meals?

Whats ready about a ready meal?   You have to open the box peel off the un-pealable plastic and cook the bastard thing, how ready was that?  And why is the plastic so hard to peel off?  It just rips into strips, it takes ages to get get it all off,  yet cheese comes in bullet proof plastic, it baffles me.
Things that need to be strong like black bags and carriers are flimsy crap, yet buy a memory card that weighs nothing and you need oxyacetylene to open the plastic packing, it's mental.

The courious case of the missing MH370

I say curious, but to be honest suspicious might be a better word for it.
You see for over a year authorities have looks at one place around 1200  miles southwest of Perth Australia. Yet there have been numerous reports of aircraft matching the description for the other direction.
One particular one sounds far more promising. The Maldives island Kuda Huvadhoo reported at the time of MH370s disappearance that a low flying aircraft with the same colours as the missing plane flew very low over the island  A number of residents made signed statements to the police at the time, and at the same time Curtain university recorded a loud noise is the sea near the area, which they claim might be the plane crashing, all this 3000 miles away from the search area that's found nothing, not even floating debris.
Curious then that investigators haven't even bothered to go to the island and read the statements, or contact the university, despite being informed of them.
Frankly I get the feeling that the powers that be don't actually want MH370 found, why that would happen I don't know.  I could guess that someone or something on the plane needs to disappear for ever, was there a deadly virus on board, maybe some papers that would expose someone powerful? Who knows, and if they don't start checking out other sighting I suspect we'll never know what happened to MH370.  And that would be a mistake, you see we still don't really know what the cause of the disappearance was and theres still around 1300 of these planes flying, each one could have a hidden fault waiting to happen, untill we know what happened to MH370 we wont know if these planes could vanish too.

Subconscious 2015 (film review)

"An investigation into a retired WWII sub plunges a research team into a supernatural journey across the dark abyss of time - with history hanging in the balance." IMDb

The film was spoilt me me right from the beginning. They tried hard to give a wartime feeling to the museum submarine and the battleship alongside, but despite having a C47 and a few fighters flying past it wasn't enough to take away the fact the submarine had health and safety railings all around it, and the the girl taking photos never changed the flash bulb.
The story revolves around a group of paranormal researchers that go to investigate a wartime submarine that's been laid up since the war, I won't give too much away but the film reminded me of the much better Ghostboat staring David Jason (Del boy)
I fond the acting unconvincing, indeed in an early scene with the admiral the cast even looked uncomfortable with the lines.  As a fantasy thriller time travel spook fest it's ok, but not great. And the ending sucks!

Sunny sunsets

There are a week or so old but never mind.
