Ready meals?

 Whats ready about a ready meal?   You have to open the box peel off the un-pealable plastic and cook the bastard thing, how ready was that?  And why is the plastic so hard to peel off?  It just rips into strips, it takes ages to get get it all off,  yet cheese comes in bullet proof plastic, it baffles me. 
 Things that need to be strong like black bags and carriers are flimsy crap, yet buy a memory card that weighs nothing and you need oxyacetylene to open the plastic packing, it's mental.
