Well on the plus side I'm feeling a lot better, on the minus side I'm still weak and tired, and not a 100% by any means, but I am up to going for a walk now at least.
Hopefully I'll be able to get some photos over the next few days, given weather (dont want a soaking) and how I'm feeling.
Might try the woods later, and see if theres any shots left, sadly most of the leaves are down now.
Now I need to start the long walks again to get my fitness back, 2 weeks of doing bugger all has hit me.
Well today I'm feeling ever so slightly better. This bug or whatever is a total bastard, coupled with me getting older and my immune system getting weaker, it's given me a right kicking.
The last two weeks I've been grim, hardly bothering with the computer, and hardly leaving the house, I just havent felt up to it. Forcing myself to go shopping when stuff ran out.
Today I've got a bit more energy, I even cleaned the cooker (A job I HATE) and it looks better for it, I was knackered after that and sweeping up the leaves so I could see my car again.
I'm also not eating a lot, and I like my food normally. I havent weighed myself, but I bet I've lost a fair it of weight. Tempted to get a bag of chips tonight.
Sorry theres not much in the way of posts, truth is I'm still ill. The last few months I've had a pasting. I had blood poisoning, covid (which wasnt too bad) and recently another bug. This ones a bastard! It's hit the crap out of me.
I'm feeling really grim, I cant really get out I'm so rough, I'm starting to wonder when this is going to easy off. I've been really bad for over a week. The joke is wearing thin now, I want to be able to get out and about.

Theres a program called Lucis art, a plug-in for Photoshop. It gives a varity of effects, leaning towards the HDR sort of look. This was processed with it.
T The main difference between this and the original is the wood texture and the shadow detail behind the wood. Thats lightened up a LOT.
I'm going to try it in black and white, I'll post that version tomorrow.

Yesterday I had to go out without all my normal EDC (every day carry) kit. It felt really strange. For years I've carried more or less the same kit, a torch, swiss army knife, hand sanitiser etc etc.
Yesterday going out withut it I felt naked, seriously, I felt really odd. OK I carry a lot of EDC, more than most I suspect. It's the way I was trained and the way I like to function , I'm used to having all the bits and peices that make my life easier. But Boy is it weird without it!

Last night on my way home I noticed the sky was very red. This isnt a leftover from sunset, the suns been down for hours at this time and I walk this route a LOT, several nights a week for years, this is new, never seen it before. And I'm aware of my world.
Now theres no real streetlights in that area, and the few lights there are, are all white one's. So whatever this is it's odd. It faded out after a short while, about the time I got home and got a proper camera in fact.
This is off my phone, it's very dark here. There is an aurora warning in place as we've had a lot of sunspot activity and we're at solar maximum.
My new computer arrived today, an Alienware something or other, water cooled. Got to get keyboard and mouse for it. It's a big lump of a computer.
Over the last week I've been ill, some sort of flu or maybe mild covid? Anyway I've had a nice cough and felt a bit "off" Not too bad really for the flu or covid, been able to carry on more or less. I am trying to keep away from people though, I dont want to spread it about. While I might not be too bad, someone else could be hit harder.
