Wedding couple, a new name?

 I came across a new name for the bride and groom to be today, Sometimes called the Mr and Mrs to be, sometimes bride and groom, sometimes the wedded pair, sometimes even a set.  The new name I came across was combatants.... sounds about right sometimes....
