Well I watched the first episode of...... Mysterious Creatures!!!! (insert drum roll here) and... well it was the Crocodile .
The Crocodile? WTF. Whats mysterious about a bloody Crocodile? They have been around all of mankinds history. Theres large numbers of them, they've been studied, disected, monitored, even happily bred in captivity.
We know how they live, how long they live, what they eat, how they reproduce, heck we even know what their favorite tv programs are. So whats mysterious about a Crocodile? Bugger all from what I can see.
If your going to make a program called Mysterious Creatures at least make it about something that is a tiny bit mysterious. Maybe something like the Leafy sea dragon, the Sunda colugo, or maybe the Axolotl. These might not be terribly mysterious but at least a lot of people have never seen one. And they are still a LOT more mysterious than a Crocodile.....
