I suspect a lot of preppers/survivalists aare going to be very dissapointed after the apocalypse, and it's all Hollywoods fault.
You see all the films and tv series set in the post apocalypse future have two types of people, the baddies, nearly always dressed in ragged furs and looking suspiciously like hells angels with long dirty hair and ragged beards, scruffy and tatty. The other type is the heros, with a preference for leather Robin Hood style clothes and neatly trimmed hair and beards and of course impossibly good looking and clean.
Now I don't honestly hand on heart know what life in a post apocalypse future will be like.... but I suspect hairdressers and boutiques will be in short supply, I also suspect nail bars and exfoliating scrub will be a tad difficult to find. Perfect skin and living rough dont go hand in hand, look at any hobo or tramp, same as clean leather clothes you have to live in. I've seen blokes after a few days living rough, trust me Hollywood perfect they aint! Mind they were not wearing leather kit so maybe that'll make a big difference... yeah right!
So if your a prepper stocked up on Robin hood clothing and exfoliating scrub you just might get away with it if your best mate is a hairdresser.... If not your screwed, better get those furs and an eye patch ready........
