Ted 2 (movie review)
"Newlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he's a person in a court of law." IMDb
Staring.
Mark Wahlberg as John
Seth Macfarlane as Ted
Amanda Seyfrued as Samantha
Jessica Barth as Tammi-lynn
The film also features, Morgam Freeman, Sam J Jones (flash gordon), Michael Dorn, Liam Neeson, Jay Leno. And many others.
The film revolves around Teds court case to decide if he's classed as a person or property.
While it's defiantly funnier than the original Ted movie it's still not as funny as it could be. The characters were better this time, you actually start to care a bit about them, especially towards the end. The humour seems aimed more at the teenage market or young adults. Easily the funniest part is Liam Neeson sending himself up in an all too brief cameo role (I see a future for him in comedy roles) Again Jay Leno is in the film for about 20 seconds but still gets a laugh.
Waynes rating 6/10 worth a watch if your a family guy or simpsons fan or after a few beers.

So is it a thing in Hollywood, that since most comedy sequels end up being terrible anyway, they use it as an excuse to stuff them full of cameos of their celebrity friends? This seems to be a given since at least Beverly Hills Cop II.
Sorry for the late reply.
Yes it does seem to be the case where they use a big name to try and draw in viewers.
