Well today was interesting, I won a competition!! WHOOPI!! and I got to play with a brand spanking new Nikon D3, £3k worth of kit, smashing camera, the low light low noise is amazing compared to the D2x, heck of a difference.

Todays Image was taken for an in-house comp, the theme was freedom, I had a few ideas, but finally ended up with this image.

The next theme is time, I had better start thinking??????

Something a little different today, a "high key" portrait, it wasn't taken as a high key but I have given it the effect in photoshop. It was actually taken in a small room with a metz flashgun using the Gary Fong diffuser. Wayne

Busy couple of days, I have been playing on photoshop. Here are a couple of images I took today in the garden, both macro shots with a shalow depth of field.

Well a busy day today, had the boys home from school, so my routine goes out the window for a start! then my youngest needed a haircut badly (and thats what he got! a bad haircut) still as a plus at least he looks like a boy now.

Heres todays pic, it's an old fortified house on the mountain near where I live, courious place to put it though it's overlooked on all sides by higher ground, and as dear old John Wayne used to say "Yaa gotta take the high ground" so not the most tactical placing.

I have given the shot a fake infra red effect in photoshop. Wayne

Had a nice days yesterday and today, yesterday I spent the day with a fried talking photoshop and cameras. Today I went walking this morning, and caught up on the washing this afternoon.
