Legends of the deep

 A new series on the Science channel called legends of the deep is on it's second week so far. Staring Celine Coustea and Fabian Coustea they dive on various mysteries of the deep sea.
 So what have we learned from watching two episodes.. ?  Well the first thing I learned is I lost two hours of my life.   Secondly I learned the camera man has an "arty" streak a mile wide. Lots of shots of they riding a sort of motorbike and shots of the bow wave ect etc etc!  Very little underwater stuff.
 The biggest problem with the series though is that for a program exploring the mysteries of the deep is your none the wiser for watching the program. Oh they talk about the story they are investigating and talk to experts and witnesses but they dont actually solve the mystery, or learn the answer.

Waynes rating. 2/10 not worth the effort of watching it.

Ghost hunting program... Oh FFS!

 Yes I know it's my own fault for watching this utter crap. I put a program on thinking it was a murder show, my tv listing often shows the wrong program. This was the case here.
 Now I know there are people who go ghost hunting properly, but why are the tv shows all so bloody awful and fake
 This show, filmed in the dark (gloom vision) as usual with infra red cameras, was still so dark as to make viewing difficult.  Why!  Night vision and IR cameras have come a long way in the last few years.
 You can now get amazing night vision or even thermal cameras for reasonable money, certainly in the budget of a tv show filming in the bloody dark.
 Then we have the presenters.... Oh god where do I start.
 They are either terrified of every sound, or they sound like the old stoned hippies of the swinging sixties "Hey man, smell that green, the red sounds even better" bollocks like that was all you could get out of them. Didn't matter what you said to them.
"Errr mate your legs are on fire!"  "aww man, it's cool, this flame is so funky" that sort of crap. Well or ghost hunters sound the same.  Why join a ghost hunting team if your afraid of the fucking dark.  It's not rocket science is it!
 Then we get the stupid stuff they say,  "did you see that shadow?"  No we bloody didn't, and neither did you. On account of it being filmed in the pitch dark with no lights. You need a light source to have a shadow you daft fucker.
 " I feel a presence" Yes, thats the two cameramen, the sound recordists and the producer you talk to all the time twat. OF COURSE THERES A PRESENCE!!! You need to be alone for that cunning plan to work.
