Land rover have developed a version that can be driven by remote control... Great another gas guzzling 4x4 that doesn't even have a passenger in it. Good thinking guys!
Thats going to sell like.... well shit really, WTF are normal people who use Land rovers to pose in going to do with remote control, half the owners can't drive the bloody things properly from inside never mind by remote control.

Jeremy Clarkson and freedom
I see Jeremy Clarkson is in trouble again. Unaired footage of top gear apparently shows him saying 'eney meany miny mo' a hideous racist crime it now appears. Trouble is pretty much everything is now classed as racist.
I'm old enough to remember Great Briton as it used to be, a friendly Christian country where wars had been fought for freedom. Now sadly none of those things are true, the country's been swamped by immigrants, freedom of speech is long gone, and I'm pretty sure Christianity is now now been overtaken by other religions.
Yes I know poor old Jeremy isn't the most PC person in the world, but the trouble is people are watching everything he just just looking for the flimsiest excuse to kick up a fuss. Even his dog has caused a stir because he named it after a black footballer, for Gods sake this country's gone bloody silly!
Yet the thing that bothers me is racism only seems to work one way, check out how many rap songs contain the N word, yet strangely I don't see any black rap stars in court for being racist, why is that?, surely the word is either racist or it's not.

The tour de France and Yorkshire
The good news is the Tour De France is coming to Yorkshire in about 10 weeks.... The bad news is yorkshire farmers are worried.... very worrried, about their dry stone walls...... Yes seriously!
Now some news for Yorkshire farmers, if you watch the tour de france you'll see the riders chucking away drinking bottles, thats to save weight, that ounce can make the difference between winning and losing. Now in the whole history of the tour theres no recorded instance of riders filling their pockets with boulders from dry stone walls, and it seems unlightly that the'll chuck away a one ounce bottle to carry a 20 pound rock, Ffrankly even if they do theres only a few hundred riders and they can only carry so many rocks, so somehow I honestly can't see large sections of Yorkshire being denuded of dry stone walls.

Megabus (review)
Megabus, mega-slow, mega-uncomfortable, mega cramped, meg- hot. I made the mistake of going to London (about 190 miles away) by Megabus, the bus arrived promptly and departed promptly, but thats about the best I can say about it.
Yes it's cheap but cattle wouldn't be allowed to travel crammed in like that I'm sure. Despite the bus being freaking huge, inside the seats are tiny, hobbit size really, theres bugger all legroom, which is actually quite dangerous on long journeys, remember it's all to easy to get blood clots sitting unable to move.
The seat back in front of me was about 14 inches in front of my face (way too close for comfort)
And in the event of a serious crash I doubt it would have been easy to get out, theres no proper emergency exits like they used to have, just windows you have to break with little hammers, not so bad you say except for some insane reason the little hammers are.... wait for it... behind bloody glass themselves. Yes no joke the hammers for you to break the glass are behind glass, and how exactly do we break that glass? Fucking crazy!
Coming back was worse, by then it had warmed up, quite a nice spring day, but onboard the bus it was sweltering I'd guess over a 100 degrees F, the sweat was running off me and I was in a tee shirt, god help if you had anything thick on, it's all to easy to get dehydrated in conditions like that.
It's the first and last time I'll travel Megabus, it was really very uncomfortable, and frankly 6 hours for an under 200 mile run is just silly, thats a long time to be wedged up againsts a total stranger with sweat running off you both, unable to move. There really should be a proper look at how close and small seats are allowed to be.

Photowalk today and other news.

Other news, theres now a committee worrying about the welfare of rabits.... I kid you not. With all the crises going on in the world scientist are worrying about the uk's lack of rules about keeping rabbits. It occurs to me if they spent less time worrying about nonsense and more time trying to stop wars we might be better off.
Other scientists have spent several years studying fly's they have now discovered that they can manouver like jet fighters when danger lurks. No news to anyone who has tried to swot a fly then. Money wasted guys.....
