For some reason over the last week or so theres been a rash of airliners suffering pressurisation issues. It's courious how these things tend to have a run of incidents of one type of thing or another.
It's also been a bad few weeks for Boeing and helicopters. With a Boeing aircraft loosing a plug door in flight, and then another aircraft loosing a wheel while lining up on the runway. The causes are being looked into by the NTSB.
Helicopters have also had a bad time with a larger than usual number of accidents and incidents.

Truth is I'm struggling, what with family and life in general, I'm going through a bad patch, finding it harder and harder to cope with the everyday shit life throws up. I was never a very patient person, but I'm getting less tolerant with the idiots I come across these days. Sooner or later I'm going to have a tilt and piss off someone.
Yesterday a tree near my house was being trimmed, so I got this pic with the Panasonic TZ80 compact zoomed in quite a long way (probably around 500mm or 600mm equv) Now I couldnt get them actually cutting, the angle was wrong for my viewpoint.
I've done a bit of tree pruning in my time, sadly always with a saw, no bugger will trust me with a chainsaw for some reason. Indeed one mate burst out laughing when I tried to borrow his, "no chance" was his reply, and "I'm not bailing you out if you hire one" was his follow up. Mind the shop wouldnt hire me one either.
