Caroline and myself tackled the last of the 3 tunnels we had planned to do recently. This ones in a worse state of repair than the others with some damaged brickwork and signs of digging and tunneling for coal, which I'm lead to believe happened during the miners strike.
A word of warning if you are thinking of tackling things like this go prepared and be careful, make sure you have more than one decent light source, and even more importantly don't go alone. I was lucky enough to have Caroline with me, shes a very reliable person to be with.
