Panasonic TZ80 water and zoom range

 I've posted pics of the zoom range before, but it always amazes me when I see it demonstrated.  For a cheap compact it's really good, it's biggest failins though are the small senson size meaning poor low light quality, and the over complicated interface.

 The water is a slow exposure hand held with the camera in shutter speed mode, the zoom range shows a wide angle (24mm equv) with a red box showing the telephoto end of the range (720mm equv)  Yes mental isnt it!

Too many Christmas trees???

 Too many Christmas trees?   

Given up looking for waterproof housing!

 Ok I gave up looking for my waterphoof housing.  I spent more than an hour again yesterday, going through draws s and boxes trying to find it.  I found my posh Guci  swiming trunks that I kept with it (I dont swim a lot these days) but the housing is missing.

 Finally I thought fuck it! I just ordered another one, it's easier that playing silly bastards.  I only need a basic one, I'm not diving to the bloody Titanic, at best it's going under a few feet of water, mostly it's to keep the bloody rain off.

 I'll post a pic when it comes.

Struggling and things missing again.

 

 The last few weeks have been very difficult for me if I'm honest.  I'm not looking forward to Christmas, something I normally do.  Last year with mum in the care home was very odd, a big change to normal.  This year without mum it's going to be very different.

 Theres also other stuff going on that are stressful, and I'm finding it hard to keep on top of everything.  I seem to spend a lot of time trying to catch up with things.

 I 've said before I need a proper holiday, a break away from the house and a change of scenery.

 Add in the rubbish weather we've had for the last few weeks and it's just a total PITA, I'm not getting out shooting pictures anything like as much as I'd like.  Hell I'm going to punch the next person who mentions global warming, dont make me laugh, I'm wearing a fleece indoor most of the summer. Another bloody ice age more likely.

 Yet again more of my stuff has gone missing, now nothing serious or expensive, so it's not a gang on ninja theives, it's weird odd stuff most people dont even know I have.  My light meter went missing for a while then turned up where it shouldnt be (after I stopped looking for it) among other things a DSLR waterproof housing has gone mising, just when I want to take pics out in the rain  FFS!

 Now it's probably the last thing anyone would take, who needs one?  ME! it's pissing down every bloody day here.  How many other places in the world do busses have a life boat drill?  Welsh busses dont go to the garage for repairs, they go to a dry dock.  We dont tan in Wales we rust.

 Being serious though this weather is really getting me down, that and lifes curves and I'm really struggling to cope.

 Sorry whinge over.

Beyond Skinwalker ranch

 

 The series Skinwalker ranch has a follow up show called beyond skinwalker ranch.  here a team of "experts" go checking other strange happenings on ranches near skinwalker.

 Where do I start!  Well it's on the History channel so that telsls us A theres no history and B it's going to be shit (and it is)  The so called reality series is about as real as an intergalitic ice cream van.  Clearly scripted with all the fake bullshit drama added to make it look exciting.  Seriously it's so bad it's a comedy (like expedition bigfoot)  even the cast are a joke.

 Theres an ex CIA agent Andy Bustamante who goes around saying "when I was in the CIA" rather like uncle Albert from only fools and horses used to say "when I was in the war".  As an inteligence agency the CIA must be rubbish, all their agents go about telling eveybody about it.  And having seen this guy in actions God help the USA if the CIA are guarding it.

 Then theres  Dr Travis Taylor, an actual PHD, there to lend a hint of science to the whole thing.  Mind as a scientist he didnt seem to know putting a compass on top of a radio means you wont get a proper reading, so maybe not the best expert they could have got.  He also looks silly with a sunburnt face and white eyes from his sunglasses, he looks like a negative of the loan ranger.

 I really dont know why the networks who used to make proper programs make this utter rubbish.  It does nothing for real science, and watching it will make your IQ get lower it's so dumb.

Remember I watch this shite so you dont have to.

Not having a great day!

 

 Went to pay my bills this morning and all the cashpoints are empty, and the queue in the bank is out the door.

 Had to go all the way home to get cash.

 Then a new computer I ordered which should have arrived yesterday (and didnt) still hasnt come, ring firm and find they dont actually have any in stock and dont know when they are getting them.  Do I want a refund?.  Yes I bloody do.   

 And to make matters worse I get soaked walking to the chip shop for dinner, and then I had a grim headache (I get them a lot) this is a full blown bitch though.  Had a kip on the sofa but it's not gone away.  Probably stuck with it till I sleep tonight.

 So I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself.
