Under the motorway

 As part of my get fit for summer I've started walking more. After walking to town to get some shopping recently I cut under the motorway, took these pics on the compact camera.
 I fancied them in Black and white (with one spot colour) just playing really.

Nazi Megastructures National Geographic channel

 I hate to be a pedantic PITA (no I don't hate it) but National Geographic program Nazi Megastructures seems a bit confused about what a Nazi is.
 So I'll help by explaining history to them, as they cant be bothered or are to stupid to find out for themselves.
 Nazi  is a common name given to Germans or Germany by the allies for the period between about 1933 and 1945 when Adolf Hitler and his NSDAP ( national socialist = Nazi) party controlled Germany. Strictly speaking only members of the party were officially Nazis.
 It does not and never has included Japan!
 Japan and Italy (among others) joined Germany for WW2 as part of the tripartite pack (although there were previous agreements) in Sept 1940.

 So making a program called Nazi Megastructures about the attack on Pearl Harbor is slightly wrong, well theres no bloody Nazis and no Megastructures built by the Nazis. To totally fucking wrong.
 I would have expected Natgeo to get it's facts right, after all this is history, it's all written down to check.


Maybe I'll make a program about how Britain won the space race and was first to the moon, I could flog it to Natgeo, I doubt they'll bother to check if it's right.....  Muppets!

Sunsets gulls and a few night shots

 After getting back from Cardiff bay and having tea I'd perked up a bit so went after a few sunsets (quite a few if I'm honest} thing is there were a lot of gulls about getting in the shots which worked for me. Again all on the new walk-about Sigma 18-250mm lens.
Bye the way none of the seagull pics are fake or photoshoped, it's all in camera, all I've done is resize them for the web.

Cardiff bay, ducks, dutch? and a busker

 Went to Cardiff bay yeaterday. Didn't have a great day to be honest, wasn't feeling that good at the start and after all the hanging around in the heat I felt grim. Thing is I wanted to try out a new walk-around lens. The idea is a wide range lens to save carrying two or more lens.
It seems to do the job anyway.
